“Launching the Webb Telescope”

The first Webb Telescope images were a moment all of humanity could celebrate. And we wanted Northrop Grumman to get the credit they deserved for building it. So we built a campaign that brought the Webb to people everywhere.

We created a movie trailer for the real cinematic feel, developed a cheeky OOH campaign that poked a (little) fun at Apple, created an AR experience where you could see the Webb full-scale – even take a selfie with it, and brought that experience through an in-person event in key DC our key DC market.

The results

  • 70mm impressions across the campaign

  • OOH Earned PR: AdWeek, AdAge, MediaPost, TheDrum engagements in 48 hrs

  • Trailer: earning 3.5M impressions

Overheard at northrop grumman

Pretty much unheard of in the aerospace & defense sector, our team created “Overheard at Northrop Grumman”. This ongoing series (we’ve created close to 80 at this point) is designed to give people a peek behind the curtain of the technology at NG, while humanizing their culture of innovation.

Talent acquisition is a huge part of Northrop Grumman’s goal of continuing to be a transformational technology company. The above is just a portion of the material we create every year that spans paid media, social, native ads, long-form video…the list goes on and on, but the results speak for themselves.

The results

  • 156,299 applications (193% growth YOY compared to 2021) 

  • ~700k total applications in 2022 (through Aug 2022)

  • 45% of those 700k applications are attributable to paid advertising (through Aug 2022)\
